Fuel Your Transformation

Your body is a tool. To build strength, lose fat, and perform at your best, you need the right fuel. This macro calculator gives you a personalized starting point based on your goals.

Enter your stats below, and let's dial in your nutrition.

The RYM Approach to Protein

Most macro calculators overestimate protein or use arbitrary percentages. The RYM Approach is to base your protein target on lean body mass — the actual muscle, organs, and tissue that need fuel — not total body weight. Here's why:

Preserves muscle during fat loss — Protein protects your hard-earned muscle when you're in a calorie deficit.

Supports muscle growth — If you're building, you need adequate protein for recovery and growth.

Avoids excess — You don't need to eat your body weight in protein if 30% of that weight is fat. We calculate what your body actually uses.

This approach is backed by research and years of real-world results. It's precise, sustainable, and effective.

Why your protein is lower than other calculators

The RYM approach calculates protein from lean body mass — so you're fueling the tissue that actually needs it, not the fat. This is more precise, more sustainable, and backed by research.

Next Steps

  • 1
Track your food using an app like MyFitnessPal or MacroFactor — set your custom macro targets to match these numbers.
  • 2
Hit these numbers consistently for 2–4 weeks before adjusting anything. One week isn't enough data.
  • 3
Adjust based on how your body responds — scale up or down by 100–200 calories at a time, then wait and observe again.
